Easter Show 2010 Sydney Olympic Park
9th April, 2010, Easter Show- Sydney Olympic Park, What an experience !!!.
Lived here nearly 10 years, never visited the Easter Show. Unplanned until 5.00 pm in the evening, however it was a good decision. It was nice to be at the make shift farm to see the cattle in an almost natural habitat, the show bag stalls, the rides, the dirt bikes, the Robosaurus in action, the fireworks, the Native Red Indian inspired Arizona Restaurant - loved the Pine Lime Margarita & Red Chili BBQ Prawns, Spinach and Cheese Gozleme from the Turkish joint.
Last but not the least is this cartoon above. It was amazing someone getting this done in 5 minutes.
Do visit, truly a memorable one.

Barbecue on Easter Sunday 4th April 2010
Easter Sunday, 4th April 2010,Central Gardens Reserve, Merrylands NSW Australia. The day started off a bit wet, however Mr Sun was playing hide and seek to dry up the moisture. Then it went on to be beautiful day.
People started gathering around 10.00 not really 11.30 with day light saving as a bonus. All seemed really hungry and BBQ did not want to start. Good god no one complained the food was not ready yet. A few of us were desperate to get the Barbecue started and few just hung on to the beers (evidently it was myself and others).
In the mean time someone started playing old Telugu songs (Prem Nagar - Evaro Ravali and so on).
Finally the BBQ was lit and food started coming. We had Chicken skewers, Sheesh Kebab, Vegetarian Sausages, Veggie Patties, Chicken Drumsticks, Lamb chops and so on. It was definitely a feast.
Some of us were busy eating and few were busy playing the favorite sport 'Cricket'. It was amazing to be playing after such a long time.
I think it was time for some dancing. No exaggeration everyone was on the floor. It was fun to be dancing, however a minor hiccup when the rangers and residents nearby complained that the music is too loud .
It was almost 4.45 and time to be leaving the park. I suppose everyone had a great time.
Thanks for coming along and making it a wonderful event. Thought I should share these pictures below.
Enjoy ! Your comments are much appreciated.
